The Door Knight game

What the game saves on your device

Your progress (doors cleared, level, gold, upgrades, hero look, quests, Pass, settings) is saved only on your device. The game has no player account with an email or real name and does not send us this information. Uninstalling the game deletes this save.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The game shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier, your IP address, technical information and data about ad display, to serve and measure ads and, if you agree, to personalize them. In Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form appears at first launch; you can change your mind at any time with the "Privacy and ads" link on the home screen. On iPhone, ad tracking only happens if you allow it in Apple's prompt. How Google ads work.

In-app purchases (App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat)

Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play: we never have access to your payment details. To check purchases and allow them to be restored, the RevenueCat service receives an anonymous identifier generated by the app and the history of purchases made in the game. RevenueCat policy. The Royal Club is a monthly subscription renewed automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Statistics (Firebase Analytics)

If you agree (the question is asked in the game in Europe; elsewhere it is on by default and can be turned off from the home screen), the game sends usage statistics to Google Firebase: doors played, screens shown, purchases, device model and approximate country. They are used only to improve the game and are not used for advertising.

Nickname, leaderboard and arena

For the leaderboard, the game creates an anonymous Firebase account (no email or real name) and stores on Google Firebase servers: your nickname and its number, your level, your best door, your weekly points, your hero's look and your Royal Club status. This information is visible to other players. During an arena fight, the game exchanges with your opponent your nickname, level, class, hero look, rating and fight state; this fight data is deleted at the end of the match. Nickname reports are kept for moderation.

Notifications

If you agree, the game schedules local reminders (camp treasure, daily gift). They are created by the app itself, with no server and no identifier sent, and can be turned off in your phone's settings.

Minors

Door Knight is intended for players aged 13 and over. In France, if you are under 15, consent to personalized ads and statistics must be given together with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if this happens, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing or port it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, withdraw your consent at any time, and set instructions for what happens to your data after your death.

Write to contact@doorknight.games with your nickname (and its number) or your Discord name. We reply within one month. As the game does not create a named account, ad data can also be managed directly with Google, and the advertising identifier can be reset in your phone's settings.

If you think your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority): cnil.fr/en/complaints, or with the authority of the country where you live.
